“I found my creative streak after moving from London to East Sussex a few years ago. Whether it was the lush countryside, the break from urban life, or simply that I am a late starter – I have embarked upon my artistic adventure with huge enthusiasm.
I have tried my hand at most things – from collage, lino cuts, mosaic, digital photography, to name just a few! Painting in both oils and watercolours are my favourites – two very different disciplines and I enjoy getting to grips with both medias. Another of my interests is the world of the Bloomsbury group, the artists Vanessa Bell, Duncan Grant and Quentin Bell and you may recognise some of my painted furniture ands smaller household items to which I have given a Charleston –inspired makeover. One of things that I love about the Charleston artists is their love of colours and designs and I aspire to express that kind of boldness in my own work.”
