Mary Grant

Mary Grant’s paintings are concerned with fleeting glimpses of beauty and changing light in the every changing landscape. There is an informality in the composition which retains a fresh and immediate response. She enjoys working on a large scale to conjure up a frenzy of atmosphere and shifting light. In December 2013 she was awarded a winter Artist in Residency at the Cill Rialaig Art Project, Ballinskelligs, Kerry, Ireland.

The painting here is Boathouse and Starry Skies (90cm x 90cm) Oil on Canvas £3000 and typifies the stillness and magic of evening time. Little Bridge Cottage, School Lane, Danehill, East Sussex RH17 7JD 07958 648996
