 Celebrate Uckfield!
This year’s children’s art competition.

A children’s art competition to celebrate all the best of Uckfield.
The winner of the competition will have their work featured on the front cover of the Uckfield Matters magazine June Edition, to coincide with the Bridge Arts Fair June 9th and 10th.
The runners up will have their work featured, one artist per month, in the mini-matters section of the magazine.
The deadline for submissions is 15th April and there will be a workshop for children at Bridge Cottage to help with the preparation of entries on Easter Saturday, 15th April, from 10am-2pm.
5x7inch canvases are available from Uckfield Framing, Allsorts on Uckfield High Street and at the workshop.
Entry is £1.

Art Fair: 9 and 10 June 2017

Uckfield’s largest annual exhibition and sale of paintings, jewellery, textiles, glass, ceramics and prints.
Venue: Weald Hall, Uckfield Civic Centre, Civic Way, Uckfield, East Sussex TN22 1AE. See How to find us for directions and parking.
Entrance free, donations welcome.

Art Fair Opening Times

Friday 9 June: 3pm 8pm
Grand Opening, Friday 9 June: 7pm
A glass of something bubbly and a chance ot preview the exhibition. Special guest to be announced later.

Saturday 10 June: 10am-5pm

 Creative Workshops: 9-10 June 2017

During the Fair: Each year we hold activities for both children and adults during the Fair. Please stop back here or check our Facebook page to see what we have lined up, closer to the date.
So far we have a workshop for you to try out the fun art of felting with Ann Dishman, and there will be a free-form embroidery session with textile artist Isobel Moore plus the usual children’s activities. More details and how to book will be available in May.
