How to find us

After a number of years operating as an art trail in studios and commercial venues around the Uckfield area, the group organising Uckfield’s annual art event have found a home in the centre of town in the Uckfield Civic Centre on Civic Way, Uckfield, East Sussex TN22 1AE

The Civic Centre was built in 1990 as a community resource and as an administration base for the Town Council. The Civic Centre is accessible to all members of the community with accessible toilets for disabled people and baby changing facilities. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the building.

Parking and Directions

The Civic Centre building is close to both the bus and railway stations, and to car parking in the adjoining Luxford Field car park just off the High Street. This gives easy access for both exhibitors and Art Fair visitors. Follow the link for charges.

The postcode for the Civic Centre directs satnav to the back of the building rather than the main entrance where the Art Fair takes place. The main entrance is not accessible from Bell Farm Lane, but rather from Civic Approach, off the Uckfield High Street.

From the Uckfield by-pass A22, turn on to B2102. Parking is available opposite the Railway Station at the foot of the High Street, in the Station Car Park. Follow the link for charges.

Parking is also available for a short period at Tescos (left at the round-about) and walk up the steps to the front of the Civic Centre or at Waitrose (right at the traffic light turn right, then first left onto River Way). Longer term parking is available on the right past River Way, opposite the National Rail Station beside the Station Pub in the Station Car Park which is a five minute walk from the Art Fair.

For paid parking and closest to the Civic Centre, or if entering Uckfield from the north, come down the High Street coming off the A26 and then take London Road which becomes the High Street. Pass the traffic lights at Church Street and turn right at Library Way to the Luxford Car Park.
